The Low Back Fix Member of the Month: Jayde Sustaire
by Anders Varner
We wake up in the morning and think about one thing, helping people get rid of pain.

Creating The Low Back Fix is the culmination of over 20 years of physical therapy and coaching knowledge and thousands of hours of practical application of the methods that are taught in our programs.

All of the information is worthless without the hard work and dedication of the people on the program.

It thrills us to hear how the program is making a difference in people's lives, and we wanted to share some of that with the public through our Member of the Month Series.

This month it's Jayde Sustaire, a 35 year old mother of two who was skeptical of whether our online program would work for her.  Learn about Jayde's journey below.

Q:  How long have you suffered from back pain?
"Only since October 2015."

Q:  How many specialists did you see before finding The Low Back Fix? Were there out of pocket expenses?
"I saw two different chiropractors several times. Then I followed that with a general practitioner who ordered an MRI which resulted in a couple of months of physical therapy.  I had minimal relief for a time, but that relief went away once I tried to resume my prior physical activity level.  So I saw a spine specialist.  My insurance is a health fund/savings account type, so although insurance “covered” some of it essentially I was out a few thousand dollars and still had a hurting back."

Q:  What made you choose The Low Back Fix?
"After finding the program online and making some inquiries online, Dr. Larson personally reached out to me, provided me her cell phone and scheduled a one on one call to discuss my issues and the program. That told me this wasn’t just another online “money” venture for someone that called them a professional at something."

Q:  When starting The Low Back Fix, what were your expectations?

"After reading the material and talking with Dr. Larson I hoped and expected to learn a great deal about how our bodies were originally created to move and discover the ways in which I was not moving properly."

Q:  Tell us about your Journey through the 8 Week program.

"I am currently on week 7. I’ve really learned to slow down and focus on my movements and the feedback my body provides. I’ve become more aware of not only how I move in the gym but also outside the gym. Although I still have days I have some pain, or really just discomfort, I can definitely say there is a difference when I follow and honor the program and don’t push beyond the plan or my current level. I tend to be hard-headed and stubborn so that happens sometimes! One of the best assets of the program is the tremendous amount of support I’ve received. I talked to Dr. Larson and Mr. Varner over the phone and via FB multiple times plus the private FB group has some valuable members that are able to provide quick and knowledgeable feedback when I’ve had questions or concerns. "

Q:  How has The Low Back Fix changed your life?

"When I went to the spine doctor he told me I could never run, lift or do high impact activities again. I have been active my whole life and got back seriously into fitness, first via running and then CrossFit, over the last seven years. So being told all I could do was swim or use an elliptical was devastating. Especially the running part because my 8 & 12 year old boys and I ran our first 5k together several months back and were talking about doing more. I had been trying to encourage them to run with me for several years so to finally get them interested and then be told I couldn’t do it anymore hit me hard. The program has help me to realize that these activities are in fact not off-limits for me and I’m now starting to slowly add some running and impact activities back into my routine."

Q:  Would you recommend The Low Back Fix to other people that suffer from low back pain?
"I recommend the program to anyone I hear mention low back issues. I especially have tried to encourage a couple of people I’ve encountered that are considering surgery or are currently relying on medications to maintain daily function. There are other options and a better way. Yes, there is no guarantee that the program will magically cure everything that ails the low back but the knowledge, support, education, experience and genuine concern within this program and its creators has proven to me that it is worth the investment.  I know there are some many “programs”, “fixes”, “solutions”, etc. online that will make you instantly skinnier, stronger, faster, healthier and so on and it’s hard to discern the good from the bad but I’m glad this is one I took a chance on. But really I knew my risk was low after the initial response and feedback I received before I even spent a dime and that is what set this program apart from the rest."
